Lir was founded by Alan McLoughlin, who served with the Military Police Corps of the Irish Defence Forces before moving into close protection. He is a member of the International Association of Close Protection Professionals, and that training shapes every booking, from a single airport run to a state visit.
The name comes from the Children of Lir, one of Ireland’s oldest legends. We are proudly Irish, and there is nothing we enjoy more than showing visitors the best of the country.

Lir’s Dublin Airport transfers to Dublin city, or anywhere within Dublin, start from €140 in a luxury saloon and €155 in a Mercedes V Class. Journeys outside Dublin are quoted on request.
Where will my chauffeur meet me at Dublin Airport?
Your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall, helps with your luggage and escorts you to the car in the VIP car park. For VIP guests and delegates, a chaperone can meet them in the baggage hall.

Yes. Lir is based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, close to Dublin Airport, and provides chauffeur services across Ireland, including long distance transfers, site visits, events and private tours.
